Even the smallest among us can carry their own light.

Sandpiper walking along the shoreline at sunset with warm golden light on its feathers as it stands out against dark blue water, photographed by Andre Terrell.

As the shoreline darkened and the day slipped toward night,
this tiny sandpiper kept moving, step by step, through the mud, through the mess,
through whatever the tide left behind.

Still shining
Still standing out

A reminder that you do not have to be large to be luminous.
You do not need certainty to keep walking.
And you do not need perfect conditions to rise.

Sometimes courage looks like this.
Quiet
Steady
Almost unnoticed

Keep moving, your light will hold.

Reflections by Andre Terrell — where images invite meaning.
